In-House Laboratory
Yearly checkups and physical examinations are essential to the health and well-being of pets, but so are internal exams. Internal exams require bloodwork, urine and feces to check your pet’s internal organs and to test for internal parasites. Testing gives a complete picture of your pet’s health because pets can’t talk, so these tests results give a voice to any internal problems.
Our in-house laboratory allows us to quickly assess your pet’s internal health rather than waiting 24 to 48 hours from our external laboratory. Rapid test results are especially helpful in emergencies, when your pet is very sick and when we need bloodwork before sedating and anesthetizing your pet.

Get The Pet Comfortable Before Touching...
"Dr. Lofsky really cares about your pets. He takes time to get the pet comfortable before touching them. He sat on the floor with my dog and just talked until he was ready. He also isn’t afraid to say we shouldn’t do this today your dog is too nervous and would be a really bad experience. As frustrating as that can be it’s so he can take care of your pet in the future. After 3 visits he was able to take blood for testing. That’s amazing. He usually will not let anyone near him and other vets have wanted to muzzle my dog."
