Internal exams require bloodwork, urine and feces to check your pet’s internal organs and to test for internal parasites. Testing gives a complete picture of your pet’s health because pets can’t talk, so these tests results give a voice to any internal problems. Our in-house laboratory allows us to quickly assess your pet’s internal health rather than waiting 24 to 48 hours from our external laboratory. Rapid test results are especially helpful in emergencies, when your pet is very sick and when we need bloodwork before sedating and anesthetizing your pet.
